Jammu, Nov, 29: Tattapani, located in the Jammu division, is a popular tourist destination known for its natural hot spring water.

Tattapani is situated approximately 55 km from Jammu city and 25 km from Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.

The hot springs in Tattapani are believed to have medicinal properties, attracting visitors seeking relief from various health issues. The water temperature ranges from 90°F to 100°F (32°C to 38°C).

The best time to visit Tattapani is from September to November and from March to May, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities.
