Shopian police conducted massive inspection to sim card vendors across the district

Shopian, Dec, 21: The shopian police has conducted a mega inspection of sim card vendors across the district. An official said that today, the inspection was held in order to verify the vendors credibility and other essential documents to issue any sim card. He further said the drive held in Keller, Shopian, Zainapora imamsahib, and many other areas of the district. “This verification process is crucial in order to maintain things under control and strict vigil be maintained on these sim vendors so that no misuse of sim cards be there,” the officer said.

The Police is emphasizing that such drives are important to prevent potential misuse of SIM cards, which can lead to anti-national activities. The process will also examine the compliance of vendors with regulations that require proper documentation and identity verification during Sim card issuance.

The police said that this process is important for general masses to prevent misuse of networks and to maintain law and order in control. Inspections like will be done in future too to check the authenticity and other maintained records by the vendors. The vendors have been asked to maintain essential documents and other things as well.
