Army sacrifices keep Nation safe; J&K incomplete without PoK: Rajnath Singh

Jammu, Jan 14: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday praised the sacrifices of Army soldiers, emphasizing their role in safeguarding the nation against terrorism.

Speaking at an ex-servicemen rally organized by the Indian Army in Akhnoor , Defence Minister as per news gathering agency KINS said that Army soldiers are laying down their lives to protect the nation from terrorism.

He asserted that Jammu and Kashmir remains incomplete without PoK and highlighted the discrimination faced by people there based on religion.

“We are aware of the active launching pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, and we will take action at the right time,” Singh stated, underlining India’s resolve to address cross-border threats.

Acknowledging the valor of Army veterans, Singh said, “Our forces have consistently defeated enemies in wars to protect our nation”.

The Defence Minister also condemned Pakistan’s attempts to misguide the Muslim community in Jammu and Kashmir, while appreciating their vital role in safeguarding the nation. “The country will never forget the contributions of Muslims in countering Pakistan’s nefarious designs,” he said.(KINS)
