J&K Govt Orders Major Administrative Reshuffle, Nitish Rajora Posted Director Information

‘Transfer non-local 10+2 lecturers from Ladakh to Jammu, Kashmir’

Srinagar, Jan 30: In a bureaucratic reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered the transfer and posting of several IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect.

According to an official order, Jatin Kishore (IAS, AGMUT:2020), serving as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat and holding additional charge of Director Information, J&K, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal.

Shishir Gupta (IAS, AGMUT:2020), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, replacing Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar (JKAS), who will await further posting in the General Administration Department.

Meanwhile, Nitish Rajora (IAS, AGMUT:2021), previously Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jammu (North), has been posted as the new Director, Information, J&K.

In other changes, Rakesh Kumar (IAS, AGMUT:2021), SDM Hiranagar, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, while Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak (IAS, AGMUT:2022), SDM Akhnoor, will now serve as SDM Uri, Baramulla, replacing Javid Ahmad Rather (JKAS), who has been directed to report to the General Administration Department.
