Awantipora, 22 Feb: In a proactive effort to ensure the health and well-being of officers/officials posted in the unit, IRP-23rd Battalion Lethpora Pulwama organized a medical camp on today at Battalion Headquarters Lethpora Pulwama in collaboration with Doctors/paramedics of Sub District Hospital pampore.
The initiative was aimed at promoting a culture of preventive healthcare and early detection of potential health issues among the employees. A team of experienced medical professionals from Sub District Hospital Pampore conducted thorough examinations, including general health assessments, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, cholesterol screening, and other essential diagnostic tests of the employess.
Speaking on the occasion Sh. Bakar Samoon IPS SSP Commandant IRP-23rd Battalion emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups, stating, “Our employees are our most valuable asset, and their health remains our top priority. This medical check-up initiative is a step towards fostering a healthier and more productive work environment. He expressed gratitude to Sub District Hospital Pampore authorities particularly the participating doctors and paramedics for their support and partnership in making the initiative a success. He also reiterated that the unit administration remains committed to prioritizing employee welfare and continuance of similar health initiatives in the future”.
The medical camp was well-received by the unit personnel with a significant number of officers and officials participating. The event also included health awareness sessions, where doctors provided valuable advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing stress, and adopting preventive healthcare measures.
