Other candidates include Dr. Twinkle Suri, Principal, GDC Samba; Jahangir Iqbal Tantray, Co-Coordinator/Head, Department of Persian, University of Kashmir; Abid Hussain, Additional Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir’s office; Sindhu Kapoor, Joint Director, JKSCERT; Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Finance Officer, University of Jammu; and Dr. Sudhir Singh, Joint Secretary, JKBOSE.

The notification states that all shortlisted applicants must appear before the Search Committee for an interaction on March 5, 2025, at 12 noon in the Committee Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Main Building, Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

The J&K government had reconstituted the Search Committee on December 13, 2024, to recommend candidates for the positions of JKBOSE Chairman and Director of the Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

The committee is led by the Administrative Secretary of the Agricultural Production Department, with members from the School Education Department (SED), General Administration Department (GAD), and Higher Education Department (HED).
