Jammu, April 12: A Junior Commissioned Officer of the army was critically injured during the exchange of fire with terrorists in the Keri-Battal sector of Akhnoor in Jammu succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

Officials told GNS that a JCO identified as Kuldeep Chand who was critically injured during exchange of fire terrorists succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

Yesterday, there was exchange of fire between army and terrorists near forward post in the Keri-Battal sector while army were on patrol. The Army also had retaliated, resulting in some exchange of fire.(GNS)
