Srinagar, May 7: Cluster University Srinagar has announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for May 8, 2025.

A notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, reads: “All the examinations of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled on 08-05-2025 are hereby postponed.”

“Fresh dates for the postponed papers shall be notified separately,” it further states.

The decision comes in the wake of the prevailing security situation across Jammu and Kashmir following India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ strikes, due to which authorities have taken precautionary measures in several districts. (JKNS)
