DGP Prabhat commends commitment of forces in securing Amarnath Yatra

Anantnag, Jul 11: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Nalin Prabhat on Friday commended the commitment of all security forces in securing the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.

Chairing a security review meeting here in South Kashmir, DGP Prabhat, according to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reiterated the need for continuous rehearsal of contingency drills and the imperative requirement for assessing and plugging grey areas.

An official said, “The DGP during the meeting stressed on the need for refining drills to deal dynamically with evolving threats and called for relentless operations in the hinterland.”
