Arms Recovered from Three Persons in Chadoora, Booked Under UAPA

Budgam, Jan 18: Security forces recovered ammunition from three persons during operation in Chadoora area of Budgam district in central Kashmir, police officials said.

A top police officer told news agency that the persons, all residents of Mouchwa village, were apprehended during the operation and rounds of ammunition were recovered from their possession.

The operation was jointly carried out by Police Station Chadoora and 53 Rashtriya Rifles, the officer said.

In this connection, a case has been registered at Police Station Chadoora under relevant sections of law, including UAPA, and further investigation is underway, the officer added.
