Srinagar, March 01: Authorities on Sunday announced that restrictions will be enforced in all districts of Kashmir on Monday as a precautionary step following reports of protests in parts of the Valley over the death of Iran’s leader Ali Khamenei.

Senior officials within the security grid told news agency JKNS that the move has been taken to safeguard law and order and avert any untoward incidents in view of the prevailing situation.

“It has been decided to impose restrictions purely as a precautionary measure,” a senior official said, adding that the measures will come into effect from tomorrow.
