New Delhi, Jan 18: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued job notification for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Medical Gastroenterology). The total number of vacancies in this Group ‘A’ Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre job notification are 7 and the last date to apply for the post is 28th January 2021.

The job offered is permanent in nature and after successful completion of the recruitment process, candidates will be eligible for the 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission) pay and perks. For more details, interested candidates can check at the official UPSC website — upsconline.nic.in

7th CPC pay scale, perks

As mentioned above, a successful candidate will be appointed in Group ‘A’ Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre and he or she will be eligible for the seventh pay commission pay and perks. The notification says that the candidate will be given appointment in Level-11 that means its 7th CPC pay scale will be 67,700 to 2,08,700 including Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), Housing Rent Allowance (HRA), etc.

Vacancy details

As mentioned total number of vacancies are 7 out of which one is reserved for the General or Un-reserved category applicant, three for the Other Backward Caste (OBC), two for Schedule Caste (SC) and one each for Schedule Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicap (PH) applicant.

Age limit

For general category applicants, the maximum age limit is 40 on the closing date of the notification means on 28th January 2020. For OBC candidates, three years maximum age relaxation is given while in the case of SC and ST candidates, five years maximum age relaxation is given means maximum age limit for OBC candidates will be 43 on 28.1.2021 while for SC and ST candidates this limit will be 45 on 28.1.2021.

7th CPC job nature

The UPSC job offered in Level-11 pay scale is permanent in nature. As per the UPSC notification, after successful completion of the recruitment process, the candidate will be appointed on one year probation and once the probation period is over, their appointment will become permanent in nature.
