Srinagar, Mar 10: A young actor Ummer Khan from Baramulla is slowly making inroads in the Bollywood as he is set to feature in several web series after featuring in Salman Khan’s web series.
Khan from Limber Boniyar presently living in Khawaja Bagh Baramulla who quite an engineering career and decided to make his career as an actor has already worked at mega platforms.
While talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Khan said that he was passionate about acting since his childhood and had to pursue an engineering degree to fulfil the wish of his parents.
“To take-up acting, I had to face society and most importantly my parents,” he said, adding that in his college he was awarded Mr Personality which ignited his passion to become an actor.
“Initially, I started working as a video jockey with a local channel then I started modelling in Delhi. After some time, I went to Mumbai to start my career in acting which was my passion since childhood,” he said.
Khan said he has made several short films which are available on YouTube.
Khan has acted in Tamil film industry, and has featured in crime alert show and Hindi serial “Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2” where he played the role of Dr Roshan.
Khan has also featured in web series under the Salman Khan Production titled Surgical Operation Team and is now set to feature in another web series “The Dark Hour” besides several Bollywood songs.
Khan who has also featured in several rap songs said that he has an instinct for acting and with Salman Khan as his icon, “I have become an actor.”
To promote Kashmiri culture, Khan made music albums in Kashmiri and are set to get released in coming month—(KNO)
