Srinagar, Mar 20: Jammu and Kashmir Civil Engineering Graduates Association (JKCEGA) on Saturday expressed its pleasure and gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led administration for expediting the regularization of incharge promotions on substantive basis in Jal Shakti department.

In a statement issued to the the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the association has hailed the order of regularization of 137 Executive Engineers on Substantive basis issued on 20-03-2021 by the Jal Shakti Department vide No. 74-JK(JSD) of 2021 dated 19.03.2021.

Jal Shakti Department has confirmed the services of 137 Exens, 29 S.E’s and 06 Chief Engineers in recent past, ever large regularization in the history of the department.

Pertinently, most of the officers who have been confirmed in their grades and Services have superannuated from the active services and this regularization will eradicate the menace of adhocism in the engineering departments and will pave way for regularization of the incumbent officers at their substantive posts.
