New Delhi, Mar 22: The North Central Railway (NCR) has released a notification of recruitment for the posts of Apprentice. The interested candidates can apply and register from March 17, 2021 till April 16, 2021 on mponline.gov.in.
There is a total number of 480 vacancies for the following trades – fitter, welder (gas and electric), mechanic (DSL), carpenter and electrician.
Age limit: Interested candidates must have completed 15 years and should not be more than 24 years of age as on March 17, 2021. Relaxation of the upper age limit up to five years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories and relaxation up to three years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the OBC category.
Educational qualification: The interested candidate must have passed class 10 exam or its equivalent exam with at least 50 per cent marks. The candidate must also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute affiliated to NCVT.
Stipend: The selected candidates will be paid a stipend as per the instructions issued by the Railway Board from time to time.
How to apply?: The interested candidates must read the notification for all the instructions before applying. After reading, they should register and apply online on mponline.gov.in.
Then the candidates have to fill the application with all the necessary credentials. It is advisable that the candidates should preview the form after filling. There is the edit option available through which the candidates can edit any information if required.
After the application form is submitted, a registration number will be allotted.
The candidates must take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
Application fee: The interested candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 and a portal fee of Rs 70 for registration.
Merit list: The merit list of the selected candidates will be uploaded on the website of North Central Railways (NCR) at ncr.indianrailway.gov.in. The candidates included in the eligible list will also be informed by post.
