Srinagar, Mar 31: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has further extended the term of Managing Director and Chairman, R K Chibber for the period of six months.
A letter by Company Secretary, Mohammad Shafi Mir, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads that “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to intimate that the Reserve Bank of India has extended the term of Mr. R. K. Chibber, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank by a further period of six months with effect from 10th April, 2021 or till the appointment of MD & CEO, whichever is earlier.”
“This is for your information and appropriate dissemination,” the letter sent to NSE and BSE added.
It is worth to mention here that this is the seventh extension to his term as MD and Chairman J&K Bank—(KNO)
