In a first, two IT graduate friends from Pulwama start academy to teach computer coding skills

Srinagar, Jul 08: Two friends with information technology background from Pulwama have launched an IT based academy to educate students with computer coding skills in Kashmir.

Aadil Ahmad Bhat (26) from Bagandar Pampore and Meer Aamir (24) from Namlalbal Pampore have started an IT academy with an aim to encourage Kashmiri students to make their future in the IT sector.

Aadil who is head of the academy said that three years after completing post-graduation in information technology, they decided to launch an IT based academy titled “DcodeFuture” to nourish the talent of students interested in computer coding besides the IT sector.

He said that due to multiple lockdowns besides clampdown after abrogation of Article 370, they have not got the desired results yet but they are hopeful that in coming time we will be able to achieve the desired feat.

“After completing my masters, we decided to go in the same field and spread the idea of coding to the younger generation of our Kashmir,” Adil said.

“At least two hundred students are enrolled in our academy for various smart skill programmes including Coding besides that around two dozen workshops were organized in different schools of Kashmir valley to promote the coding skill,” he said.

He claimed more students are taking interest in coding skills which is a good sign as coding enhances problem solving capacity of students besides they  avail excellent career opportunities in the same field.

“Our academy also organised an IT conference in 2019 to bring the valley on an IT map. Besides that we have trained dozens of students in various programming languages viz Python, C, Java and others,” Aadil said.

“Our academy is also providing IT solutions to small businesses by developing web-based applications and software with which they expand their business,” said Meer Aamir, who is the partner in the company.

“We encourage small unit holders to use social media and also provide them necessary tools to have maximum outreach besides that we have provided result oriented solutions to small scale businessmen by taking them online,” he added—(KNO)
