Kashmir University Announces AR, AC Mains Exam Results

75 percent qualify 10th standard exams

Srinagar, Jun 20: University of Kashmir, Dargah Hazratbal, Monday announced mains exam results for the posts of Assistant Registrar and Assistant Controller. The mains exam of two-tier exam was conducted on March 23 this year.

The seven posts, as learnt from aspirants, were advertised on October 24, 2019 saw preliminary exams being conducted on August 26, 2021 – results of which were notified on December 1, 2021. Date for conducting the mains exam scheduled for January 6, 2022 was however postponed to March 23, 2022. The varsity authorities put off the results yet again, causing anguish among the 175 aspirants, many of which had been calling GNS intermittently until last week to take up the issue with varsity authorities.

On taking up the issue with Vice-Chancellor Kashmir University Prof. Neelofar Khan assured the results will be announced in ‘a couple of days’.

With the varsity announcing the mains results after almost 90 days, selected candidates will be heaving a sigh of relief. (GNS)
