Winter Challenges: Ensure adequate supply of essentials: J&K LG tells Officials

Says people shouldn’t face any problem during winters

Srinagar, Oct 20: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Thursday directed the officials to make adequate supply of essentials available during winter in the Union Territory.

LG Sinha, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) asked the officials that people should not face any problems during the winter and this should be taken care of by everyone.

Sinha made the comments while chairing the district development review meeting in Pulwama district on Thursday. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several infrastructure projects in the district.

He asked the official that there should be adequate power and water supply during the winter and if there snow on roads it should be ensured that clearance should be done immediately.

He stressed upon the officials that the people should not face any difficulty during the winter in any case, be it power, water supply and other essential services.

Sinha also asked the officials of the department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs department to make adequate ration available for the people—(KNO)
