Continuing anti encroachment operations in Baramulla district to evict Government Land from the illegal occupants, the Tehsil Administration Pattan today launched a massive anti-encroachment drive at Hanjiwera and Trikolbal pattan.
On the orders of Tehsildar pattan Sakib Murtaza, a Revenue Team headed by Naib Tehsildar Hanjiwera along other officials of Revenue Department retrieved over 87 kanals of Kahcharai land from the encroachers.
Speaking about the anti-encroachment drive undertaken to preserve Government land, the Tehsildar told JK Update Correspondent Gulzar Khan that anti-encroachment drives will continue in all the parts of the Pattan and Singpora tehsil to retrieve entire State and Kahcharai land encroached by the land grabbers. He said involvement in land encroachment will be dealt with sternly as per the law.
The Tehsildar Pattan sought cooperation of the general public in its action against encroachments and also warned of action under CrPC in matters of encroachment on State/kahcharie lands.
