Kangan, Aug 24: Two ladies and a girl sustain injuries after a wild bear mauled them in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday, officials said.
The incident occurred in Wani Mohalla area of Kangan.
Officials told KNT that a black wild bear appeared suddenly in agriculture field near power house Kangan and pounced upon two ladies and a 19 year old girl. They were identified as Shaheena Begum (46) wife Reyaz Ahmed Mir, Jabeena Begum (34) wife of Mehrajuddin Rather and Nusrat Bano (19) daughter Nazir Ahmed Mir all the residents of Wani Mohallah Kangan.
“All the injured were immediately rushed to Trauma Hospital Kangan for treatment where from Shaheena Begum was referred to SKIMS Soura for advance treatment. (KNT)
