Kulgam, Aug 27: A nine-year-old boy was drowned to death in Bushi Nallah in DK Marg area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.
The boy identified as Nisar Ahmad Dar son of Gulzar Ahmad Dar drowned on Thursday following which a rescue operation was launched, officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
A police officer said the body of Nisar Ahmad Dar was recovered by a rescue team comprising police and locals from Nallah at around 7:10 PM.
The body of Nasir from DK Marg was handed over to the family for the last rites, he said—(KNO)
