Srinagar, Aug 28: A policeman who was injured when a car hit a motorcycle driven by him near Chogul Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has succumbed to injuries on Friday.
Official sources told GNS that an accident took place this morning on Sopore-Kupwara near Petrol pump Chogal when a WaganR car (JK01P-1320) hit the motorcycle (6502/05D) driven by policeman Tahir Ahmad Bhat of Lachampora Rajwar.
The policeman was injured and was shifted to district hospital Handwara wherefrom he was referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, they said. The sources said the policeman succumbed to the injuries. (GNS)
