Kulgam, October 26: In a relentless effort to curb the menace of drug peddling, Kulgam Police under the supervision of SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal-IPS continued its proactive actions against offenders, today attached Property (Double storied residential house) measuring 1465 Sq. Ft and 13 marlas of Land underneath the residential house (Value of more than one crore) belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Imran Ahmad Ganie Son of Late Mohd Ramzan Ganie R/O Nassu Badragund Qazigund, Kulgam under section 68-F(2) of NDPS Act 1985.
The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drug and psychotropic substances by the owner during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by kulgam police. The said drug peddler is presently detained under PIT NDPS act and is lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu.
