Poonch, Sep 17 (KNO): A stray bullet, believed to be of a machine gun, created panic in Poonch Town on Thursday even as the police started investigation into the matter.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that in the evening hours, a bullet fell over the roof of a residential house behind Mohalla Radio Station, creating panic among the family members and the locals.
“Police were informed after which a team from the local police station rushed to the spot and seized the bullet.” said officials.
They said that investigation into the matter was going on.
“It seems to be a bullet of a machine gun and it is being and it might have been fired on the Line of Control in Poonch sector,” they said—(KNO)
