West Bengal Man Found Dead in Hari Singh High Street Srinagar

Srinagar, June 19: A 30-year-old man from West Bengal was found unconscious and later declared dead at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.

An offical told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Pallab Maji, son of Manto Maji, a resident of Howrah, West Bengal, currently residing at Hari Singh High Street.

He said that Pallab, who was working as a jeweller in the area, was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the matter and further proceedings have been initiated. (JKNS)
