Srinagar, Oct 09: Two-borne assailants shot dead a relative of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA in Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh while he was out on a morning walk near his house.
The incident happened in Sihani Gate, Ghaziabad on Friday morning. The victim was on his daily morning walk when two bike-borne assailants opened fire at him.
Police have reached the spot where the BJP MLA’s relative was shot dead. The victim’s body has been sent for postmortem. An investigation has been initiated in the case.
The victim is a relative of BJP MLA Ajit Pal Tyagi from Muradnagar Assembly constituency.
