“In my books, I have touched various aspects of life including what kind of treatment of poor get from rich people. Besides that I have touched social and religious issues,” he said. “There is talent in every child of Kashmir, but due to lack of infrastructure, platform, support and financial issues, 90 percent talent remains unexplored.”

He said: “Like me, it’s a story of almost every house in Kashmir that we were unable to showcase our talent due to financial issues or other reasons.”

Muntazir has been moving from pillar to post to get some sort of financial help so that he could publish his work, but to no avail. “I got a very cold response wherever I went for support,” he said.

In his message to the youth of Kashmir, he said: “I want to tell the youth that they are our future and don’t get involved in futile exercise like drugs but work on your dreams. If you work hard, one day your dreams will definitely come true.”—(KNO)
