Family registers missing report after youth goes missing

Sopore missing youth traced

Srinagar, Aug 7: Srinagar family has lodged a missing report after a 24 year old youth has gone missing.

Reports said that a youth from Barzulla Srinagar identified as Saqib Manzoor left his home on 5 August and didn’t return. All efforts to trace the missing youth proved futile. His phone is also switched off.

A police official from Police Station Saddar told news agency KNT that a missing report has been received from one Manzoor Ahmed Dar son of Ghulam Ahmed Dar, a resident of Old Barzulla in which he has stated that his son Saqib Manzoor is missing since August 5.

“Efforts are on to locate the missing youth,” he said.

A purported video is viral in which the family members of the missing youth can be seen requesting Saqib to return home.

Meanwhile, Sopore police has traced a missing youth who had gone missing on 5 August. The youth who has been traced is identified as Muhammad Abbas Shah son of Mushtaq Ahmed of Takia Panzala Sopore. (KNT)
