Srinagar, August 30: One militant and ASI of J&K police were killed in ongoing encounter at Panthachowk in outskirts of Srinagar district.
A senior Police officer told GNS that one militant has been killed in ongoing encounter, however identity of the militant is yet to be ascertained.
He further said that the ASI who was earlier critically injured succumbed to his injuries in 92 Base hospital.
Till this report was being filed intermittent firing was going on.
Earlier three bike-borne militants had attacked a joint team of police and CRPF near Panthachowk in which no damage was done, they said. (GNS)
