Srinagar, Aug 31: Crime Branch Monday conducted raids in Srinagar and Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district in connection with the ‘wrongdoings’ in Jammu Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC).

An official from Crime Branch Kashmir told KNT that this year a case had been registered after complaints about misappropriation of funds by officials of JKPCC Units. These officers are allegedly involved in embezzlement of government funds which led to huge financial losses to the government exchequer.

“Raids were conducted at different locations in Kashmir capital Srinagar and saffron town Pampore. During these raids incriminating material has been seized,” the official said.
