Kupwara, Aug 31 : A middle-aged woman was injured after a vehicle she was travelling in turned turtle at Chowkibal area of the district this afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said that the incident involving an Alto (Chasis Number) driven by Fayaz Ahmad Shiekh resident of Zonareshi, occured near the local Army camp.
In the incident, one middle-aged woman Atiqa Begum wife of Abdul Jabbar Mir reident of Zonareshi received injuries.
The injured was evacuated to SDH Kralpora for first aid treatment wherefrom she has been referred to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment, reports said.
Meanwhile a police official has confirmed the incident. “A case has been registered in this regard and investigations will follow accordingly”, the official said.
