Budgam, Sep 9: Government Forces launched Cordon and Search operation in two hamlets of Beerwa district Budgam this evening.
The search operation in both the villages were underway till the filing of this report.
Sources told news agency KNT that combined forces including soldiers from 53 ,and 02 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operation Group of Police have cordoned Rathusan and Dragger villages of the district after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants.
Sources added that door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
Local sources said that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in these area, however, no contact with militants have been established so for.(KNT)
