Srinagar, Sep 19: Joint Forces launched a cordon and search operation in Sadarbal interiors of Hazratbal Srinagar outskirts on Saturday afternoon.
Official sources told news agency KNT that police and paramilitary troopers from 115 Battalion cordoned of Sadarbal area and launched door-to-door search operation.
A police official said that it is a speculative search operation and there are no inputs about the presence or movement of militants.
The search operation was underway till the filing of this report. (KNT)
