SSB trooper along with INSAS magazine goes missing in Budgam

Srinagar, Oct 14: A Sashtra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper has allegedly fled along with ammunition in Nagam village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official told news agency KDC that an SSB constable identified as Altaf Hussain of Rehan Koteranka area of Rajouri district , posted at 14th Bn Nagam has been missing since Tuesday evening along with 20 rounds of INSAS magazine containing twenty rounds.

“He has gone missing when he was performing his duties at Morcha number 5 and has absconded with ammunition from the placement at around 09 : 15 PM in the evening of Tuesday,” he said.

Meanwhile, a missing complaint in this regard has been lodged at police station Chadoora and police is asserting the details to find out the missing trooper. (KDC)
