Government forces took her two sons for door to door searches
Pulwama, Oct 15:: The residents of Gussu village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district alleged that a woman namely Taja Begum aged 65 years died of cardiac arrest during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO).
During the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday, government forces including 50RR laid the siege around the Gussu village and launched door to door searches.
According to the locals, government forces took her two sons for door to door searches, due to which their mother suffered from cardiac arrest and was shifted to Pulwama hospital where she was declared brought dead.
While Rafiq Ahmad one of the neighbours of the deceased told CNS that the deceased lady suffered from a spell of long illness and died during the CASO as she suddenly died after feeling light pain in her heart.
As per the reports received by the CNS, the woman suffered cardiac arrest after her two sons were taken for door to door searches by army. (CNS)
