Srinagar, Oct 27: Anti Corruption Bureau on Tuesday arrested Station House Officer and Head Constable of the police station khag in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, while caught accepting bribe.
Official sources told news agency KDC that on the basis of a complaint ACB team headed by DySP Rameez Ahmad raided the police station Khag and caught SHO and cop red handed while accepting the bribe.
An official while confirming the arrest of the duo said that both were caught red-handed while accepting the bribe of rupees 4000.
He identified the arrested SHO as Gowhar Ahmad (SI) and Head Constable as Nazir Ahmad.
He said an FIR number 21/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in ACB police station Srinagar and further investigations have been taken up. (KDC)
