Moscow, Nov 12: A 14-year-old kid from Russia’s Chechnya saved six families from a fire in the city of Sassnitz, North Germany.
The boy named Deni Eskiev was traveling in a car with his family when he saw a flame erupting out of the roof of a house. The boy immediately called the fire department and ran towards the house.
He knocked on the doors of the various houses and warned them about the danger. He managed to warn ten residents living in six apartments.
By that time the firefighters have arrived and taken the fire under control. The fire had reached the upper floors of the house. Hadn’t the boy warned the residents a major accident could have taken.
But thanks to the quick insight and courage of the boy he managed to save the lives of six families. The mayor of the city has announced that the city council would felicitate Deli for his courage and bravery.
“Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.” Qur’an 5:32
Acts of bravery and courage are praised and encouraged in Islam. Allah ﷻ says in Qur’an that whoever saves one life it’s like he has saved entire mankind.
Islam is a religion of peace and harmony. The portrayal of Islam in a negative light is propaganda and people must understand that these are true Muslims who save life not those who take life.
