PDD employee electrocuted in Bandipora

Hajin, Nov 18: An employee of Power Development Department died of electrocution in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The incident occurred in Hakbara area of the district.

A police official identified the deceased as Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat son of Muhammad Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Watepora Handwara.

Eyewitnesses told KNT that Bhat who was an employee in PDD was repairing electric line on a police when received electric shock. He died on spot, they said.
