Locals said that that there are only 3 class-rooms for 94 students. This single storey building is in dilapidated condition. No efforts were made to renovate it despite repeated requests from parents and locals of the area.
“Our children are suffering due to callous attitude of authorities. Due to heavy snowfall, the roof the school building collapsed last year. Students sit at homes whenever it rains,” said a local Panch told KNT adding that even a playground is not available for the unfortunate students.
Fakeer Muhammad Bhat said that he offered his land for the construction of this school but is feeling sorry now. “I was promised a job. Leave aside the job, even students are not being taken care of,” the specially challenged Bhat said adding that he gets Rs 200 monthly to take care of the school.
