Srinagar, Nov 28: Internet Service was suspended in twin districts of South Kashmir in wake of District Development Council Elections.

Sources told news agency KNT that people were deprived of availing internet benefits in Pulwama and Shopian due to DDC Elections in these twin districts.

Thought first phase of DDC elections were conducted in other parts of Kashmir Valley as well with no internet suspension but in Pulwama and Shopian districts, this service was suspended on Saturday.

Pertinently, DDC polls and Panchayat by-elections began in parts of Jammu and Kashmir today amid tight security arrangements.
