Srinagar, Dec 17: The Meteorological Department has predicted possibility of light to moderate snowfall at isolated places in Kashmir and Ladakh between December 21 and 22.
The forecast for snowfall coincides with the arrival of the 40-day harshest winter period of Chilai Kalan next week.
Meanwhile, the fresh snowfall and drop in temperatures is attracting tourists including skiers to Gulmarg.
