3 Injured As JCB, Maruti Car Collide in Anantnag

Udhampur mishap: Four of a family missing, one body recovered

Srinagar, Dec 19: At least three persons sustained injuries after collision between a JCB and Maruti Car in Bunssu Kokernag area of south-Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday afternoon.

Reports reaching GNS said that a Maruti-800 car bearing Registration number JK-01J 8333 had collision with a JCB resulting in injuries to three on-board persons.

The injured persons have been identified as Ghulam Hassan Shiekh son of Ghulam Rasool Shiekh, Qaisar Ahmad Shiekh son of Nissar Ahmad Shiekh and Aijaz Ahmad Decca son of Mohammed Ramzan Decca all residents of Deesu Kokernag.

The trio was in the meantime removed to sub-district Hospital Kokernag wherefrom they were referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile a police official has confirmed the accident to GNS and said that they have taken cognizance of the case and further investigations set in motion. (GNS)
