Srinagar, Dec 30: Meteorological Department (MeT) officials say’s there could be some respite from the bone chilling cold and freezing temperatures in the next three days.
Director MeT, Sonam Lotus, said a feeble Western Disturbance, likely to impact Jammu and Kashmir on Monday will cause “weather to remain overcast”. Lotus said this would lead to improvement in the night temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius from Monday.
“With the arrival of Chilai Kalan, we expect a Western Disturbance on Monday and Tuesday. The clear sky and dry weather which has been continuing for the last one week is likely to change as cloudy weather conditions are expected on Monday,” Lotus said. (With Inputs from GK)
