FCS&CA Issues Modified Rate-list of Essential Commodities in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar, Apr 29: Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department has Wednesday issued a modified rate-list – applicable from Wednesday – highlighting prices of different essential commodities in Valley.

According to the rate-list issued on 28-04-2021, a copy in possession of news-agency Global News Service (GNS), Bananas (Grade-I), (Grade-II) will cost Rs. 80 and 70/dozen respectively, Pineapple (Rani) Rs. 90/piece, Pineapple (Raja) Rs. 55/piece, Pomegranate (Kandhari) Rs. 160/kilogram, Grapes (Red Glow) Rs. 180/kilogram,  Grapes (Green) Rs. 70/kilogram, Coconut Rs. 30/piece, Watermelon Rs. 30/kilogram, Papaya Rs. 70/kilogram, Kiwi Rs. 45/piece, Melon Rs. 40/kilogram, Mango (Safeda) Rs. 80/kilogram and Mango (Dussehra) Rs. 95/kilogram.

The rates of other commodities are also expected to be issued soon, informed a FCS&CA Department official.(GNS)
