“We stitched the caps for ourselves. But many were curious to get the same and that is how we started the venture,” he said.

According to him, they started an online venture and have been receiving orders from both within the country as well as outside.

The caps, he said, are made of pashmina and they have engaged artisans to made the caps.

The duo has included beret caps to make choice available for women as well.

The process involves procuring pashmina, dyeing, design followed by needle work or Sozni. Later, it is washed and is stitched by a tailor.

The duo has a message for their counterparts, ‘instead of waiting for government jobs, try to create a niche for themselves—(KNO)
