Kulgam Police Crackdown: 2 Notorious Drug Smugglers Booked Under PIT NDPS Act in Qazigund

Qazigund, May 27: Kulgam Police booked two notorious drug smugglers under the PIT NDPS Act in Qazigund to eradicate the drug menace from the society.

An official said, “The smugglers, identified as Abdul Rashid Rather @Mathur son of Ghulam Hassan Rather resident of Bonigam, Qazigund and

Bashir Ahmad Ganaie son of Mohammad Ahsan Ganaie from Nussu Badragund, were detained and lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu after obtaining formal detention orders.”

He said they were involved in promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth despite being named in multiple FIRs.
