Srinagar, Jun 01: The Roads and Buildings (R&B) department is all set to come up with a longest flyover, to be constructed on the highway bypass in Srinagar, stretching from Parimpora to Shalteng Crossing, sources said on Saturday.

Reliable sources in the R&B department told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a flyover is about to be sanctioned on the busiest bypass highway, from Parimpora to Shalteng Crossing, which aims to alleviate the traffic congestion on one of the busiest routes.

They added the project is moving forward rapidly, with the tendering process set to begin soon. “This bridge will connect the highways and will also ease the traffic flow on the business highway,” they added, highlighting the anticipated benefits for commuters and the local economy.
