Artists from diverse backgrounds, students from over a dozen schools participated

Qazigund, Aug 07: Asia News Observer (ANO), in collaboration with Shemstar International School Qazigund, organized an Art, Literature, and Cultural event on Wednesday. The event aimed to provide a platform for young minds to showcase their artistic talents and other skills.
Asia News Observer believes that the youth should come forward as change-makers and demonstrate their talents to the world. Such events offer the best possible audience and a platform to promote their work.
This inaugural event featured a book fair and an art exhibition, with over two dozen artists setting up stalls.
The event was honoured by the presence of International Cricketer Pervaiz Rasool, Commanding Officer 9 Rashtriya Rifles Varun Kumar, and motivational speaker Majid Misgar, Dr. Sheikh Mushtaq, Wasik Shan (CEO of Khanday Constructions Pvt Limited), and other notable dignitaries.
Students from both government and private schools, including IPS Wanpora Qazigund, Dreamland Educational Institute Vessu, Evergreen English Medium Institute Wanpora Panzath, Innovative School of Learning Panzath, Kashmir Public School Qazigund, Gousia Public School Qazigund, Hanfia Evergreen Public School Bonigam, Govt Girls Middle School Panzath, Shemstar International School Qazigund, and Govt High School Panzath, showcased their artistic skills. A total of 41 students from these schools participated, and their art was praised by visitors and guests.
The event also featured 24 artists from diverse backgrounds, including calligraphers, abstract artists, painters, drawers, poets, and writers.
Motivational speeches by Dr. Sheikh Mushtaq and Wasik Shan inspired the students and audience, which was broadly on giving importance to promote real skills, which also boosted student morale.
Later, Pervaiz Rasool and the Asia News Observer team distributed certificates to the artists, while students received certificates from the Principal of Shemstar and the Asia News Observer team, along with other dignitaries.
Members of the media fraternity were also recognized, and the event concluded peacefully on a positive note.
