Srinagar, Feb 02: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out raids at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley, officials said.
They said the searches were conducted early in the morning in Srinagar, Sopore, and Bandipora as part of an ongoing investigation into terror-related activities and funding networks.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that NIA teams, assisted by local police and paramilitary forces, conducted simultaneous searches at residential and other premises linked to suspected individuals.
“The raids are part of a wider crackdown on terror financing and support networks operating in the Valley,” the official said.—(KNO)
